John Craig (1810?-1887) was a grocer and councillor.
Craig's grocer's shop was in Stockwell Street and was best-known for the high quality of the tea for sale there. Craig retired from the business sometime before 1869 when he became a councillor. He was an opponent of the teetotal lobby on the Town Council and spoke out against attempts to limit music hall licences in the city.
