Vivien Hamilton is Research Manager for Art, Glasgow Museums. Her publications include the monograph Joseph Crawhall 1861-1914, One of the Glasgow Boys (1990) and Millet to Matisse, Nineteenth- and Twentieth-Century French Painting from Kelvingrove Art Gallery, Glasgow. She is an Honorary Research Fellow in the Department of History of Art, University of Glasgow.
