Elaine M Edwards is curator of the National Museums of Scotland's Museum of Scottish Country Life, was previously assistant curator in the National Museums of Scotland's Scottish Life Archive and has also worked as exhibitions officer at Woodhorn Colliery Museum, Northumberland. She is a graduate of the universities of Edinburgh and St Andrews.
