Ronald P A Smith

Ronald P A Smith, a native of Fife, is a town planner working part-time with Glasgow City Council, most of his career having been spent on the regeneration of the Gorbals. He has written or edited local history publications on the Gorbals, Pollokshields, Queen's Park and Linlithgow, the latter in his capacity as chairman of Linlithgow Civic Trust. He also compiles and publishes over 90 different street maps, covering most Scottish towns outwith the three major cities.
