Philip Long is a Senior Curator at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh, where he specialises in Scottish Art from the late nineteenth century to the present. Scottish exhibitions which he has curated and written publications on include William Gillies, John Maxwell, Anne Redpath and the Scottish Colourists.
