Richard McBrearty was educated at the Universities of Strathclyde and St Andrews and is presently employed as a Curator at the Scottish Football Museum. His most recent display work was "The Hampden Centenary Exhibition". He has research interests in the Origins of football in Scotland and Football in Victorian Scotland.
