Eric J Graham is a post-doctoral fellow of Edinburgh University and independent researcher. A graduate of Strathclyde and Exeter University he has since specialised in Transatlantic and Scottish maritime history. He is the author of "A Maritime History of Scotland 1650-1790" and founding member of the "Early Scottish Maritime Exchange".
