Guthrie Hutton

Guthrie Hutton played a leading role in the Forth & Clyde Canal Society and was active in the campaign to restore the canal. While helping to give the canal a future, he researched the canal's past and wrote a number of books about it. He has also written books on other local and industrial history subjects.
