An advertisement for John Thomlinson, taken from a brochure celebrating 60 years in the business.
Thomlinsons were wholesale manufacturing stationers and printers. Their Stanley Works were at 142 Dumbarton Road, Partick, but later moved to larger premises at 436 Dumbarton Road.
By the 1920s Thomlinsons made a variety of goods, such as collapsible cardboard boxes, paper bags and a wide range of office stationery. They also undertook book binding and die stamping as well as printing catalogues, certificates, circulars and other products.
