Mini-netball

Children playing mini-netball at the Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena, 1995, when Glasgow City Council promoted its Sport for Life for You initiatives.

It is considered to be crucial to encourage positive attitudes to active involvement in sport during childrens' pre-school and primary years. The Parks and Recreation Service developed an out-of-school programme for 3-8 year olds to help them to aquire basic movement and co-ordination skills. The Kelvin Hall had a major part in the project as it is one of the city's leading sporting facilities
