Neil McGarvey is a lecturer in politics in the Department of Government, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Main research interests include Scottish and local politics. He has published in numerous academic journals including Parliamentary Affairs, Local Government Studies, Policy Studies, Public Administration and the British Journal of Politics and International Relations. He is currently drafting a book on Scottish politics.
